Aldoga Renewable Energy Hub

The Queensland Government has contracted Acciona Energy to develop a 265MW solar farm on 1,200 hectares of state-owned land adjacent to the Larcom Creek substation at Aldoga, west of Gladstone in Queensland.

Construction of the Aldoga solar farm is expected to commence in early 2020, and will take 12-18 months for completion.
