Bald Hills Wind Farm

The Bald Hills Wind Farm, about 10 kilometres south east of Tarwin Lower, near Wonthagi in South Gippsland, is planned to consist of 52 wind turbines, each with an electricity generating capacity of 2 MW giving the project a total capacity of 104 MW.

Construction of the wind farm is expected to start in the second half of 2011. It was expected that the wind farm will be fully operational by early 2013 but it actually began operation in February 2015.
