Boco Rock Wind Farm

Boco Rock Wind Farm is located 10km south west of Nimmitabel in New South Wales. The wind farm has 122 turbines with a total generating capacity of 270 MW. The wind farm to be developed by the Wind Prospect Group.

In June 2013, Downer EDI Limited announced that it had been awarded a contract, with consortium partner GE Australia and New Zealand, for work on stage one of the Boco Rock Wind Farm Project. The total project is valued at approximately $350 million.

Boco Rock Wind Farm was purchased by Thailand's Electricity Generating Public Company Limited (EGCO) and became operational in October 2014.
