Cape Sir William Grant Wind Farm

Pacific Hydro plans to build a wind farm with 23 turbines and a total capacity of 47 MW at Cape Nelson North and Cape Sir William Grant, near Portland, Victoria. The wind farm is the fourth and final component of the 179 MW Portland Wind Energy Project.

In September 2013, the Clean Energy Finance Corporation provided $70 million on commercial terms, and other banks provided $158 million, to Pacific Hydro for the wind farm and to re-finance neighbouring wind farms.

The project was completed in 20015.
