Capital Wind Farm
The Capital Wind Farm is located in New South Wales southeast of Lake George, about 30 kilometres north east of Canberra. The wind farm was completed in 2009 and cost around A$220 million.
The wind farm was built as part of the Kurnell Desalination Plant project to offset the power usage of the desalination plant:
