Carrum Downs 1 & 2 Sewage Treatment Works

Melbourne Water, owned by the Victorian State, operates the 1,700kW Carrum Downs 1 & 2 Power Stations that use sewage methane.

The electricity generated is used within the sewage treatment plant. No electricity is supplied to the grid.
