Coleambally Solar Farm

The French renewable energy developer, Neoen, is planning to construct a 150 MW solar farm about 5 kilometres north east of Coleambally in south western New South Wales.

The Coleambally Solar Farm site comprises approximately 550 hectares of private freehold land and will the solar farm consist of approximately 560,000 solar panels. 

The project will connect to an existing substation located about 150m north of the site.

In July 2017, EnergyAustralia signed a long-term deal to buy 100MW of the output 

Construction began in January 2018 and was completed in October 2018.
