Darwin Airport Solar Farm

In 2016 Darwin International Airport installed a 4MW solar farm. This was subsequently increased to 5.5MW making it the largest solar farm in the Northern Territory.

In September 2018, the Northern Australia Infrastructure Fund announced that it would provide loan funding for an expansion of airport facilities in the Northern Territory including increasing the capacity of the solar farm at the Darwin Airport to 40MW.
