Flyers Creek wind Farm

Infigen Energy is proposing to develop a wind farm with 38 turbines and a capacity of approximately 110MW to 145MW about 20 kilometres south of Orange in the central-west of New South Wales.

Project approval for the Flyers Creek Wind Farm with 42 turbines was granted by the NSW Government Planning Assessment Commission in March 2014. A modification to decrease the number or turbines to 38 but to increase the capacity from a maximum of 138MW to 155MW was approved in November 2017. A further modification to increase the height of the wind turbines was lodged in July 2018.
