Kyoto Energy Park Stage 4

In 2010, Pamada Pty Ltd obtained approval to develop a 30MW wind farm as Stage 4 of its planned Kyoto Energy  Park in the New South Wales Hunter Valley.

Stage 1 of the Kyoto Energy Park project is access and earthworks. Stage 2 will be development of a substation and ancillary works. Stage 3 will be the development of a 10MW solar PV plant. The project is also planned to include a 1MW pumped hydro "water battery" and an education centre.

The project will be located at two sites:

  • Mountain Station, approxinately 12 kilometres west of Scone and
  • Middlebrook Station, approximately 8 kilometres north-west of Scone.

In February 2015, the company stated that Stage 1 of the project was "progressing quietly".
