Mortlake South Wind Farm

Acciona Energy is planning to develop a 157.5MW wind farm with 35 turbines about 5 kilometres south of Mortlake in southern Victoria.

The wind farm was originally proposed in 2008 and approved by the Victorian Government in October 2010.

In August 2016, Acciona submitted an amendment to the proposal and a Planning Permit was issued in April 2017.

In September 2018, Acciona announced that battery storage would be included in the proposed wind farm.

Construction is planned to begin early in 2019 and to be completed by October 2020.
