Tailem Bend Solar Farm

Snowy Hydro is planning to construct a 100 MW solar farm at Tailem Bend on the Murray River in South Australia.

The project will also include a 28 MW diesel fuelled generator being relocated from the Hunter Valley, to provide backup power during periods of peak demand.

Development of the solar farm is expected to be completed in 2018.
