Yambuck Wind Farm

Yambuk Wind Farm, near Portland in south western Victoria, consists of 20 turbines with a capacity of 30 MW. The wind farm was completed in 2007.

Yambuck Wind Farm is adjacent ti the Codrington Wind Farrm and is part of the Portland Wind Energy Project being developed by Pacific Hydro. The Portland Project comprises:

  • Yambuck (20 turbines with 30 MW capacity)
  • Cape Bridgewater (29 turbines with 58 MW capacity)
  • Cape Nelson South (22 turbines with 44 MW capacity)
  • Cape Sir William Grant (27 turbines with 54 MW capacity).
