The Glenvill property group has announced the first release of houses in its Yarraville development which it says will be the world’s first “Tesla suburb”. Every house will have a Tesla Powerwall, electric car recharging points and a six-star ecologically sustainable development rating.
YarraBend is being developed at the former Alphington paper mill site, 6.5 kilometres from the Melbourne CBD. The site has 300 metres of Yarra River frontage.
The initial sixty 3-5 bedroom houses in the 2500-home green development have advertised prices ranging from $1.48 million and $2.1 million.
